Welcome to the Five Town Science Preview web site and our Maine's Learning Results Clarification document.Each of the science performance indicators from the Maine Learning Results have been researched using national documents and a clarification page has been developed. The intent is that this web site will help teachers cover the indicators thoughtfully and with developmental and instructional implications in mind. Remember, the Maine Learning Results are not curriculum and we encourage you to look at our grids entitled "Big Ideas" when designing curriculum, refining units, or just as a good place to get started. We view this web site as a living document that will evolve and develop. We want your feedback, corrections, and ideas for the example section. The site will be updated on a yearly basis.
