Senior Scholarship Information
December 13, 2017: A Scholarship Packet for the Class of 2018 will be added to this website sometime on/around Feb 1. Seniors will also receive a "Yellow Scholarship Folder" containing information, scholarship descriptions, an unofficial transcript as well as organizational forms. In the meantime, while forms and applications are being updated, you may view what was avaialbe to the Class of 2017 by clicking on the links below. Schoalrships which are currently avalaible have been shared with senior homeroom teachers, directly with seniors via their school email, as well as posted on the bulletin board outside of the School Counseling Office.
SAVE THE DATE! Tuesday, February 27 will be our Yellow Folder Night for Seniors and their parents/guardians. We will explain the scholarship process, have time for questions and answers, and we will also have representatives from FAME, the Worthington Foundation, as well as other state and local schoalrship representatives.

Maine State, Regional and Outside Organizations (Section 1 in your Yellow Folder):
This page includes a list of many local, state, and regional scholarships. These scholarships have their own application and instructions. The deadlines vary. You will find links to the scholarship applications here or you may have them sent to you electronically by sending Angie Carlsen an email request. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Local Scholarships (Section 2 in your Yellow Folder):
These scholarships all use the 2017 Senior Scholarship Application This application is available as a FILLABLE PDF. You will need the free Adobe Reader program to fill the form in digitally. It will not work in Preview or via the web. Print one copy of your application for each scholarship you are applying for (for example, if you are applying for 5 different scholarships in this section, you will need to turn in 5 copies of the CHRHS Scholarship Application). In addition, you need to include one copy of your transcript and one letter of recommendation. These application materials must be turned in to the School Counseling Office no later than Monday, April 3.
CHRHS Scholarships (Section 3 in your Yellow Folder)
This is a long list of local scholarships, which are overseen by the CHRHS Scholarship Committee. You will need to attach just one copy of the 2017 CHRHS Scholarship Committee Section 3 Form, one copy of the 2017 Senior Scholarship Application, one letter of reccommendationand a copy of your transcript. Your application for the CHRHS Committee Scholarship section must be turned in to the School Counseling Department no later than Monday, April 3.

Scholarship Help is available on an as needed basis. If you need help, please ask in the school Counseling Office. An evening for seniors and their parents is sccheduled for Tuesday, February 28 beginning at 6:30 pm in the Strom Auditorium.
