Ms. Maria Libby
Principal Maria grew up in Camden and attended the Camden Rockport schools from grade 5 through grade 12. Maria was active in sports during her teenage years, playing field hockey, swimming, and tennis. She was also the first girl to play on C-R Babe Ruth baseball. She graduated as valedictorian from Camden Rockport High School in 1982 and went on to Bowdoin College where she received her degree in Economics and Environmental Studies. Her first real job out of college was as a math and science teacher at a private boarding school in Colorado. That was followed by three years in a similar position at Proctor Academy in New Hampshire. Maria first began teaching at the Camden Rockport Middle School in 1997. She had settled into 7th grade math before earning her Masters in Educational Leadership and becoming Assistant Principal in 2004. During the 2006-07 school year, Maria was appointed Interim Principal. She enjoys skiing, hiking, and boating with her two teenage sons. |
Mr. Aaron McCullough
Assistant Principal Aaron lived in Iowa until he was fourteen years old and then moved to Fort Fairfield, Maine where he completed high school. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, Aaron then became the physical education teacher, varsity boys' basketball coach, and athletic administrator for Limestone Community School and the Maine School of Science and Mathematics (LCS/MSSM). Aaron obtained his Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Maine while working for LCS/MSSM. While obtaining his Master's degree, he took on the additional role of Assistant Principal for Limestone Community School. Aaron next moved to Messalonskee Middle School in Oakland and was Assistant Principal there for four years. He is currently completing his Doctoral degree, an Ed.D., from Argosy University located in Sarasota, Florida. |
