CHRHS Family and Consumer Science Educator since fall 2002

I have participated in several continuing educational workshops and conferences that focus on family life, child development, cooking and wellness.

Toy Library Center Director

  • Led and developed this community service/loan program for Knox County families with children.
  • Promoted realistic understandings about young children’s needs.
  • Nurtured cooperation and ongoing support between families.
  • Helped create an environment for learning through play.
  • Expanded lending library of play/parent educational resources.
  • Supervised an assistant and staff volunteers.
  • Worked with Toy Library Board community members
