||Dr. Piechocki joined the CHRHS faculty in 2010. She has been working with teenagers and at-risk youth for over 10 years. She worked for a Crisis Response Team before completing her pre-doctoral internship with the Newark Public School District in New Jersey. She has held
positions at a therapeutic wilderness program, a private non-medical
home for adolescents with developmental and emotional disabilities, a psychiatric hospital, and an ABA-based day treatment
program. Dr. Piechocki speaks around the state about various topics including effective classroom management, interventions for executive functioning deficits, working with at-risk youth, and emotional/behavioral disabilities. She has been involved with a variety of committees at CHRHS
including the Crisis Response Team, Child Find, Dropout Prevention, Restorative Justice, and the Substance Abuse Prevention Committee. She
also belongs to local and national psychology organizations; holding a position on the policy council with the Maine Psychological Association (MEPA).
