I have taught a wide variety of English courses since I joined the staff in 2004.  In addition to classroom responsibilities, I supervised the student literary and arts magazine, Windsong, as well as directed the competitive winter one act play in 2010-11 (Dust in Your Eyes) and 2011-12 (The Odyssey). 

I am just returning from a two-year leave of absence, during which I directed the English department at The American International School of Vilnius in Lithuania.  There I expanded my knowledge of the International Baccalaureate program, adapted my instruction to non-native speakers, and enjoyed amazing opportunities to live and travel in Europe and the Middle East.  My family was happy to return to our country lifestyle here in Midcoast Maine and reconnect with the CHRHS community.
