Accounting I
Mrs. Heath
Room Room 223 - Period

Syllabus
Description:
If you buy things, work for somebody, or dream of owning your own business, you need to learn the “language of business.” In Accounting I you’ll learn how to collect information about money, how to organize that information for other people to understand, and how to analyze the information to make sound business decisions.  We will study the complete accounting cycle of recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and ‘closing the books’ for a small, single-owner service business. We will “keep the books” for imaginary companies in the traditional way and using computer programs like Quick Books.
