Sara Pardun (Cole) has taught English at Camden Hills since 2011 and recently took time off to attend Harvard University where she earned her Master's degree (EdM) in Education Policy and Management. While there, Mrs. Pardun (Cole) focused her research on teacher quality and instructional coaching, state education policy relating to teacher quality and induction/instructional coaching, and research-based writing instruction. Additionally, Mrs. Pardun (Cole) worked as an advisor and evaluator for graduate students in the Teacher Education Program at Harvard.
When she is not in the English classroom, Mrs. Pardun. (Cole) has coached the varsity swim team and has a deep rooted passion for the sport and the wonderful swimmers. In her down-time, Mrs. Pardun (Cole) enjoys spending time with her husband and dog (Sir Charles MooCow III), traveling, sushi, writing, binging on Netflix, and reading. Her favorite adventures since she began teaching include: traveling to China to work with teachers, living in Cambridge, Ma while pursuing her Master's degree, yearly travel to Ibiza, Spain where she works on her writing, and exploring the Western US during a month long white-water kayak course. Above all, Mrs. Pardun (Cole) loves teaching English and hopes each student will continue to find their voices and independence.
