|MS Language Arts Teacher|
I earned my English degree and teaching certificate at UMaine, my MFA in Creative Writing at USM, and have spent most of my teaching career here on the coast of Maine. I am honored to now work with 8th graders at CRMS, where I started in 2012.
In the year prior to joining the CRMS staff, after having talked about it for over a decade, my husband and I moved our family of five to Daegu, South Korea. We lived and worked at Daegu International School, in the city, and also had opportunities to travel all over the world. To date, I have visited or worked in schools on Jeju Island, Thailand, Jamaica, China, Fiji and New Zealand. Every trip refreshes our enthusiasm for education. Every trip has been an amazing experience. And so far, every trip has eventually led us home again.
Our roots grow ever deeper to this beautiful part of the world, as we raise our own children, and teach the youth of our community.
